Story of Strength, Sacrifice, and Hope

Ivanna, a premature baby born at 24 weeks, has spent 124 days in the NICU at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. As a single parent, Mom has had to balance the demands of work while supporting her daughter through this difficult journey.
Thanks to There With Care of the Bay Area, Mom has received gas cards in addition to other essential items. Transportation assistance has been crucial as Mom navigates both work and long trips to be with Ivanna.
This assistance has helped ease some of the burden, allowing her to focus on what matters most: being there for her daughter.

Mission
The mission of There With Care of the Bay Area is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to children and families during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.
Begin to Build a Relationship
We know you care about where your money goes and how it is used. Connect with this organization’s leadership in order to begin to build this important relationship. Your email will be sent directly to this organization’s Director of Development and/or Executive Director.
Families often tell us they can’t afford parking, groceries, or even gas to get to the hospital. That’s why There With Care exists to bridge that gap, meeting families’ everyday needs so they can focus on what matters most: caring for their child. That’s the power of community.
The Impact of a Gift
A gift of $3,500 provides three months of support for one family navigating a child’s medical crisis. This contribution assists with home stability (rent, utilities, mortgage), food security, reliable transportation to and from treatment (rideshare and gas gift cards), and customized care packages. Most families need the support for three months, some need it for a year or more.
