Afternoon at The Pines

Sage Compassion for Animals invites the community for an inspiring afternoon celebrating compassion, community, and the life-changing bond between pets and the families who love them. We are excited to be hosting an Afternoon at The Pines on Sunday September 20th.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of one of Sausalito’s most historic homes, this special gathering celebrates our mission to help fund veterinary care for pet families in need.
We will have a presentation from Dr. Samantha J.M. Evans, part of the team advancing groundbreaking treatment for a once deadly disease in cats. If you cannot attend, you can still make an impact by participating in our online auction, featuring an unforgettable Chef’s Dinner for up to 12 guests at The Pines, an evening of food, wine, and history in one of the Bay Area’s most unique settings. Partnering with SageC4A has been a game changer
for us. Their expertise, dedication, and seamless cooperation has helped provide crucial surgical care for so many pets. It’s a beautiful partnership between organizations with a common goal; working alongside such an esteemed and compassionate team isn’t just
an honor, it’s a privilege.
No Pet Left Behind
Over 90% of every donated dollar goes directly to veterinary care, making a life-saving difference for pet families in crisis.
• $2,500 can save the life of a pet, covering an emergency surgery of critical treatment.
• $5,000 enables Sage Compassion for Animals to fund higher-cost procedures – like an orthopedic fracture repair by a specialist.
• $15,000 donated quarterly, enables Sage Compassion for Animals to double the amount of immediate emergency grants available.
